Welcome to the 2023 Income Tax Year Please note that if you make an appointment, we will have you wait in your car while your paperwork is being prepared. You can also drop it off or PDF it in anytime. We will call you when it's ready for pickup. Please read the 2023 tax newsletter below for important details and updates regarding your return. We are not accepting any IN OFFICE appointments . Returns can be done by dropping off your information in the locked drop box located at the back door, or preferably by emailing your paperwork to the office at kmprecisiontax@gmail.com. We have been preparing taxes for clients that live out of state for years and this is how they get their paperwork to us. If you choose to mail your paperwork in, we strongly encourage you to SEND COPIES. DO NOT MAIL US YOUR ORIGINAL PAPERWORK. The IRS will Never: * Call or demand immediate payment, nor will the agency call about taxes owed without first having mailed you a bill. * Demand that you pay taxes without giving you the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe. * Require you to use a specific payment method for your taxes, such as a prepaid debit card. * Ask for a credit or debit card number over the phone. * Threaten to bring in local police or other law-enforcement groups to have you arrested for not paying. If you do receive a phone call from someone claiming they are from the IRS, record the employee's name, badge number, the call back number and caller ID if available. THEN call 1-800-366-4484 to determine if the caller is an IRS employee with a legitimate need to contact you.
